COVID-19 Webinar: Back to the Workplace - the key legal issues

A presentation at NICyber Webinar by Simon Whittaker

Carson McDowell is inviting NI’s cyber ecosystem to a webinar covering the key legal issues of getting back to the workplace. The NI Executive has reviewed the extent of lockdown restrictions, and many businesses and employers are moving to Stage two of the five-stage Pathway to Recovery. We are delighted to invite you to our exclusive live webinar – “Back to Work: the key legal issues”.

Drawing on the experience of legal specialisms from across the firm, we will address issues such as:

What if my employees refuse to return to work? What are my key health and safety obligations and how best do I ensure compliance? Am I liable if an employee says they catch COVID-19 at work? Do we know what approach our employer’s liability insurer will take?

NI Cyber’s Simon Whittaker will chair the webinar, followed by a short presentation from experts in Carson McDowell’s employment, health and safety, insurance and defence litigation teams.

If you have a question that you would like to submit prior to the webinar you can do so by emailing [email protected]. Time permitting, we hope that we might also be able to take “live” questions during the webinar.
