How to Read a Peptide Certificate of Analysis Peptara Labs

A presentation at How to Read a Peptide Certificate of Analysis Peptara Labs by Peptara Labs

How to read a peptide certificate of analysis, line by line and without guesswork, is what this 45 minute online talk from Peptara Labs (peptaralabs.io) teaches. Event: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 17:00 UTC. Online. The join link is sent to registered attendees before the session. Free to attend.

Abstract

A certificate of analysis is the main evidence a lab has that a vial holds what its label claims, yet many readers stop at the purity figure. This talk starts at the top of the page, with the lot number and test date, and works down: identity by mass spectrometry and retention time, purity by HPLC, measured net content against the label, then the safety lines for sterility, endotoxin, heavy metals and fentanyl.

Each step uses certificates from our own released batches, including a case where two different peptides have recorded masses only one dalton apart.

What you will leave with

A checklist for any seller’s certificate, a clear sense of why purity alone cannot prove identity, and a way to tell an accredited testing lab from one that is only aligned with a standard.

The talk covers lab testing only. It says nothing about use in people.
