About Properly Educating Guys

Got a few comments about my post on Loveawake dating site failing to do their job by properly seeing that the guys they teach are actually successful with women. If you’re a part of the community, then you know that the number of guys seeing any real success is very slim. And as I said in my previous post, if gurus (including myself) were formal teachers and had such low rates of success, then they’d all be fired. Anyways, on to some of the comments:

I’m actually reading a story about a guy who was a preacher, and was dead set against going to fight in world war one. How did the draft officers finally convince him to fight? They played to his personal values. In a short amount of time, they changed his belief system and what he was capable of. This man ended up being one of the best shooters during the war.

And then there are a few stories of how a psychologist (Freud?) cured some of his patients (I really don’t have time today to look up the specific psychologist, but I’ve read these stories on numerous occasions.). There was a man who thought he was Jesus, so what did the psychologist do? He brought in a cross and prepared to “crucify” the man. The man no longer believed he was Jesus.

In another Jesus incident, two men thought that they were Jesus, and how did the psychologist treat them? He simply introduced them to each and let them see how ridiculous they both were for believing they were Jesus.

And in another instance, there was a girl that would completely destroy whatever she touched. When the psychologist started helping her destroy objects and ripped off a woman’s dress, the girl saw the effects of what she was doing, and she no longer had anymore behavior problems.

I’m not attacking anyone’s methods or the successfulness of their systems, but the point here, is that many, if not the huge majority of gurus (including myself), aren’t qualified to teach. Any qualified teacher or psychologist knows how to attack these self-defeating beliefs that many of their students (clients) have.

That being said, I’m not charging thousands of dollars to teach anyone. In fact, I don’t charge at all. But if you’re going to charge anyone a substantial amount of money (like many of the gurus do), don’t you believe that person should actually have the proper background and qualifications to be teaching?

BECOMING GOOD WITH WOMEN IS NOT SOMETHING SOMEONE ELSE CAN DO FOR YOU.

IT REQUIRES CHANGING WHO YOU ARE, AND IF YOU AREN’T DEDICATED ENOUGH, IT WON’T HAPPEN, PERIOD.

IF A STUDENT IS TRYING HARD AND GETTING NOWHERE…WELL, HE IS PROBABLY TRYING TOO HARD, ‘CAUSE THIS SHIT REALLY AIN’T ROCKET SCIENCE- ESPECIALLY SOCIAL CIRCLE GAME. IN FACT, IT’S COMPLETELY NATURAL.

I THINK IT’S AWESOME THAT YOU TAKE ENOUGH PRIDE IN YOUR WORK TEACHING THAT YOU ARE TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OTHERS LEVELS OF SUCCESS.

I’M GLAD THAT YOU ARE STILL WRITING, I KNOW YOU HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT HANGING UP YOUR SPURS BEFORE. I ALWAYS ENJOY SEEING WHAT YOU ARE UP TO ON HERE.

You are right, but it is up to the teacher to plant the necessary seed in order to make the student WANT to learn and become dedicated. As I said before, there are several examples of teachers doing this in the past.

And you’re right, this isn’t rocket science. But let me ask you a question, do you think a rocket scientist believes that his work is as difficult as “rocket science”? My point is that no one who is really good at something sees it as being as difficult as a newcomer may see it.

And I’m glad that you realized that social circle game is where it’s at. I only wish other guys would realize this. Maybe someday it’ll slap them in the face.

Yes. But seriously, it was a rushed post. Anytime you see several typos or if my posts are written in all lowercase letters, it’s because I am literally rushing to get the post finish before I run out of time.
