India is considered as the diabetes capital of our country, because roughly 15% of the Metro city population are suffering from diabetes.

But things change, 2 decades back only old people get affected by diabetes, but now even millennial generations are getting affected by diabetes as well.

As per the experts currently the world has around 40 million diabetes patients, and it might cross upto 70 million in upcoming years.

People should have adequate knowledge about diabetes and related diseases. Lack of knowledge about regular testing, insulin and tracking the sugar level is a must for diabetic patients.

The death caused due to diabetes and related diseases have already increased to 39%. Which is roughly 7 lakh indians. The world population of diabetes deaths is around 3.4 million and 30% of deaths happen in India, due to lack of affordable healthcare and increase in the price of the medicine and insulin.

In India roughly 74 million people are diagnosed with diabetes out of which 54% of adults are not aware that they have diabetes in them. Which is really bad news b’coz. The awareness is very limited, we personally request government organizations and NGOs should do more awareness campaigns for diabetes and related diseases.

As I said earlier diabetic patients try hard to balance their disease but most of the time they fail. People with diabetic disease should take regular tests and try to balance their sugar level.

There are dozens of ways to balance and maintain diabetes in your body. We would like to give some of the exercises and diets to make diabetes normal.

Exercise Regularly: Diabetic patients must do regular exercise to increase the insulin sensitivity, as a matter of fact the body is maintained at moderate weight. Which will balance diabetes as well. A 30 minutes of exercise is more than enough “increase insulin sensitivity can now use the sugar in blood more efficiently and the regular exercise will use blood sugar for more energy”

Taking Carbohydrate Intake: Carbohydrate food will break the glucose and process that to an energy. So your carbs intake will influence the blood sugar level as well.

Fiber: Normally digestion is delayed, fast digestion is not good for health as well. The more fiber you eat, will slow down the carb digestion process. Which on the other hand will gradually increase the glucose in your bloodstream.

Some of the fiber rich foods are (Vegetables, Fruits, Legumes and whole grains).

Manage your stress levels: Stress is not good, because stress will affect the sugar level in your bloodstream. Stress will increase the cortisol and will increase the sugar levels. So too much sugar is used for no reason.

Always keep in mind that diabetes patients must do regular exercise, meditation which will help us to reduce stress and lower our blood sugar levels.

Monitor your Blood Sugar Levels: You need proper equipment to monitor blood sugar levels. Some of the equipment is glucometer. Always keep in mind, consult a doctor before taking any decisions. Here are the list of glucometer brands Dr. Morepen, Accu-Chek, Accusure, Control D and One Touch. Majority of the glucometer is referred by the doctors

Going for Diabetic package is a good idea, rather than taking individual tests. Radolabs diabetic packages consist of test which the doctors will be in need

Lipid Profile - Check the cholesterol in your blood. They call it as Complete Cholesterol Test Fasting Blood Sugar- FBS is taken after the patient has overnight fasting (Not to eat till they take blood) Creatinine is a waste product from the blood, in case if the creatinine level is high it is really hard for your kidney to function effectively.
HbA1c - One of the important diabetes tests one must take, it measures the blood sugar attached to hemoglobin. Blood sugar test - It’s nothing but blood glucose test, this test will check the level of glucose in your blood. Urine analysis : This is not directly related to diabetes, instead it finds out the level of urine ketones and urine glucose. Electrocardiogram - ECG is a basic heart test which helps to find heart rhythm and electrical activity. Diabetes is the only disease which will damage other organs like heart, kidney, pancreas, liver etc.,

As we all discussed diabetes is a disease which will be in our body for many years. If we take regular medicine and proper diet then we can expect to maintain the diabetes for many years. If we fail to take the medicines consistently there are high chances of fatal thing might happen
