Our social, economic, and political environments are based on designs that are at least one hundred years old. Our social architecture was designed on obsolete ideas about religious fundamentalism, aristocratic feudalism, colonial enslavement, and economic exploitation. The world is working exactly as it was designed.
Governments exist to maintain the status quo. The media broadcast the problems of the world using an advertising business model designed to increase spending and economic growth. Corporations are monetizing media and technology innovation by enabling authoritarian hierarchies to build a surveillance economy to exploit humans as resources for extracting labour and monetary assets.
People are asking for transformational social, economic, and political change.
How might we empower people to engage in a process to imagine, design, and build the future together? How might we reimagine our social architecture?
