Figma hosted Config, their first user conference, earlier in 2020 and brought their whole community together to share and learn from each other. They plan to do that every year, but they also want to connect and hear from poeple more frequently than that.
Config Europe was born from an idea of taking a(mini) conference on the road to communities all over the world. For the first one, they planned to go to Europe in Fall 2020. The event still focused on Europe but, since it was online, it was open to everyone.
