10 - 12 October 2022 in Seattle, WA, USA #button2022 Event website
Button is an event for people who lead, practice, and love content design. We’re hybrid in 2022, so you can attend in person in Seattle or online. No matter how you join us, you’ll get to:
Each year, we carefully curate the Button program from hundreds of talk proposals to ensure you’re getting the best ideas, insights, how-tos, and inspiration. Check out the Button 2021 recap to get a good sense of the kinds of topics our speakers tackle in their keynotes, panel discussions, and breakout talks.
Button speakers are inventive, passionate contributors who are committed to our shared growth. We host an open call for talk proposals every year, and our blind review process ensures everyone has a shot at the Button stage.
People across roles, job titles, and experience levels find each other at Button. We often hear that this is the first time attendees feel they’ve found their people! New friends continue to share professional and personal connections even after the conference is over. Together, their insights and experiences inform a growing body of knowledge that fuels and shapes our rapidly evolving field.
We’re committed to making Button a friendly, welcoming conference that’s accessible to everyone.
The Button Equity Scholarship program allows us to expand conference attendance to people whose experiences are marginalized due to systemic oppression and exclusion. This program not only creates a more diverse conference, but also directly shapes our field of practice to reflect more experiences and perspectives.
In addition, we hold all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff to a code of conduct that ensures a safe and inclusive experience during the event.
