Do your regional websites talk funny?

Have you visited a non-English website that was obviously not designed/built/reviewed by a native speaker? It doesn’t make sense that with only 5% native English speakers globally, the web is 95% English websites. With some tender loving care and CSS, we can build a better non-English web.This talk will go into detail on specific typography-related CSS for ensuring your site’s content is presented well in your target locale, strategies when it comes to localisation efforts and some funny anecdotes from my personal experience. There will be a CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) focus but the main goal is to inspire everyone to build a better non-English web.
