Previously, Jonathon was a senior group design manager at Intercom, where he redefined content design to maximize its impact. He led UX content strategy for Facebook Marketplace and was the first principal user experience architect at REI. Jonathon also served as a Peace Corps volunteer focused on public health in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Jonathon volunteers with 81cents as a pay equity advisor for marginalized communities of people in tech.
Jonathon’s a graduate of the University of Washington (M.S., Information Management, 2013) and Michigan Technological University (B.S., Technical Communication, 1997).
Jonathon’s married to the artist Marja Huhta and they live in Dublin, Ireland with #bestdogever.
