Jonathon Colman leads the global content design practice at HubSpot. He’s a Webby Award-winning designer and keynote speaker who’s built and led design and content teams at Facebook, Intercom, IBM, REI, and The Nature Conservancy.
Previously, Jonathon was a senior group design manager at Intercom, where he redefined content design to maximize its impact. He led UX content strategy for Facebook Marketplace and was the first principal user experience architect at REI. Jonathon also served as a Peace Corps volunteer focused on public health in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Jonathon volunteers with ADPList to mentor people in UX so they can grow faster and more easily in their careers.
Jonathon’s a graduate of the University of Washington (M.S., Information Management, 2013) and Michigan Technological University (B.S., Technical Communication, 1997).
Jonathon’s married to the artist Marja Huhta. They live in Ireland with Lola, the Wonder-Mutt.
