Modern web applications actively use real-time features. Before Rails 5 it was a little bit tricky to build yet-another-chat in Ruby, most developers chose competing technologies.

Now we have Action Cable. The problem is solved!

Not so fast. We have a great framework, but we still rely on Ruby’s performance, which leaves much to be desired when dealing with concurrency, high-loads and memory consumption.
