Decarbonising the planet, one Umbraco upgrade at a time

It’s estimated that globally, the collective carbon consumption of the internet is equal to that of the entire airline industry. In this talk, we’ll explore a project we did with a client, our hypothesised results, and the exciting outcomes for digital sustainability. We’ll show how by taking measures including Umbraco upgrades, greener hosting options, optimisation and decommissioning, organisations can make significant and tangible reductions to their carbon outputs.
