Since Super Mario is 35 years old, it is highly likely that Nintendo would remake the best 3D iterations of the brand on the Nintendo Switch.

If you haven’t played video games in 35 years or have only recently exited a warp pipe, Mario is THE character. The video game industry was basically saved by the 1985 release of the first Super Mario Bros. Since his debut in 1981’s Donkey Kong, Mario has appeared in more than 200 games and is the face of the best-selling video game franchise of all time, with 600 million copies sold. Super Mario Kart started the battle kart fad, and Super Smash Bros. invented the party fighter. Mario games either create or elevate entire genres.
