A presentation at All Day DevOps by Dawn Parzych
Many people today say there is a DevOps talent shortage. Others say there isn’t, but rather there is a shortage of people willing and able to relocate for a job. Being open to remote employees may be the answer to finding the talent you need.
But before you decide to hire remote employees make sure you are setting them and the company up for success. Hiring employees that work remotely can help you overcome the talent shortage you may be facing and result in greater diversity and increased productivity. Without proper strategies in place, remote employees can feel isolated, disconnected, and left out.
